Importance of Water

A lot of
hair bloggers have over-emphasized the importance of water in our bodies and
for the health of our hair too. So I’m also here to do the same. 

I have gotten broadcasts several times on whatsapp
and bbm about the importance of water.  I
thought it helpful to share this with you today. The American Doctors Association has given out
answers for the causes of cancer;

  • Do not take tea in plastic cups
  • Do not eat anything hot in a plastic bag. e.g chips
  • Do not heat foodstuffs in a microwave using plastic
    material because when plastic gets into contact with heat it produces chemicals
    which may cause 52 types of cancer.

Now we all know water is important but never knew
about the special times one has to drink it. Drinking water at the right time
maximizes it effectiveness on the human body;
  • Glass of water after waking up – helps to activate
    internal organs.
  • Glass of water 30 minutes before a meal – helps
  • Glass of water before taking a bath – helps lower
    your blood pressure
  • Glass of water before going to bed – avoids stroke
    or heart attack. Because about 90% of heart attacks occur early in the morning
    and can be reduced if one takes a glass or two before going to bed at night.

Chinese proverb says “when someone shares something of
value with you and you benefit from it, you have a moral obligation to share it
with others too”.
In November, I joined Jen of Just Grow Already‘s 30 days of water challenge and this really helped even though I fell off the wagon a dozen times. I didnt have indigestion like I used to and my body just felt and looked different.

So lets improve our daily intake of water and you’ll be glad you did. PS: You can download water apps from the App store on your phone to help remind you to drink water everyday. I use the Hydro Coach App and it has been very helpful.
